Olympic Champion Alexei Prokurorov Skiing died in an accident. Accident occurred on the morning of Oct. 10 in Vladimir. Prokurorova was hit by a car near the city railway station. The former athlete, in 2006, headed the women's team to Russia Skiing, died at the scene, reported Interfax.
A car drove a resident of the Vladimir region, has previously held administrative responsibility for the rejection of checks on the availability of alcohol in the blood.
Prosecutors, who was 44 years, became the Olympic champion in 1988 at the Winter Games in Calgary, consisting of USSR. He won the gold medal at the distance of 30 kilometers. In 1997, prosecutors in the national team of Russia became the champion of the world in the same discipline. BOXING CAREER skier completed in 2002.
