American racing cyclist Lance Armstrong has expressed doubts that he will take part in the Tour de France 2009. According to Armstrong, because of difficulties in the relationship with the organizers of the race he might abandon attempts to win the prestigious velomnogodnevku for the eighth time in his career. Armstrong said that difficulties with the organizers of "Tour de France, reporters and fans could prevent him solve the main task - to attract the attention of the international community to fight cancer.
37-year-old American racing cyclist announced his return to sports in September 2008, three years after the end of their careers. From 1999 to 2005, Armstrong won seven times in succession, "Tour de France and one of the best riders of all time.
In early October, the head of the French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) Per Bordri invited Armstrong to re-examine the doping samples taken from the athlete during the Tour de France 1999.
