Vitali Klitschko defeated Samuel Peter

Ukrainian-heavyweight boxer Vitali Klitschko defeated Nigerian Samuel Peter and became the champion of the world's version of WBC (World Boxing Council). After eight rounds of fighting, held in Berlin, Peter refused to continue the struggle. Klitschko owned a noticeable advantage throughout the match.

After the eighth round, Peter and his bottle decided to abandon the continuation of the fight. Thus, Klitschko was awarded a technical knockout victory, and he stole the title of world champion Nigerian version WBC.

Klitschko himself possessed this title from April 2004 to December 2005, when he announced the resignation of the sport. WBC has Ukrainians title of "honorary champion" and gave him the opportunity if they returned to the ring to meet the current champion. Peter won the WBC title on March 8, 2008, knock out Oleg Maskaeva.

After a fight with Peter in the account Klitschko was 36 wins (35 - KO) and 2 defeats. Nigerian won in a professional ring 30 wins (23 - KO) and 2 suffered a defeat. In September 2005, Peter lost on points to Vladimir Klitschko - younger brother Vitaly.

Note that after the victory over Vitali Klitschko, Peter, in professional boxing for the first time in history a situation where the world champion titles in the heavy weight of the different versions of organizations owned by brother. Currently, Wladimir Klitschko is the champion of versions IBF (International Boxing Federation) and WBO (World Boxing Organization).
