Russian tennis player Marat Safin withdrew with a representative tournament series "Masters" will be held this week in Madrid. Safin will not be able to speak at events in Spain because of a shoulder injury. Last week, Safin took part in the Kremlin Cup, where he reached the finals, but in the crucial match succumbed to his compatriot Igor Kunitsyn. In the ATP ranking (atp professionals) Safin took 34 th place.
